I. Introduction
The Herzog Technology Company is looking to upgrade its’ existing network architecture. Currently, HTC has networking equipment that is over 10 years old. This aging equipment cannot support newer technologies such as VOIP, Video conferencing, and many new security features. These services must be offered in the equipment to be purchased.
II. Scope of Work
The vendor will supply all of the equipment and labor. This includes the procurement, installation, and initial configurations of all replaced equipment. The vendor will have to train the existing staff to maintain and monitor all of the installed equipment.
- 8 Cisco 6509 Chassis switches for datacenter and distribution
- 200 Cisco 3750 LAN switches for wiring closets
- All cables, connectors, and miscellaneous materials, including patch cables with proper connectors, needed for this installation. All patch cables must be new, factory made, and factory tested.
III. Special Conditions
As a special condition of the request, the vendor must be able to work in off hours. This may include nights and weekends. The vendor must also supply there own equipment to complete any tasks necessary.
IV. Payment
HTC will provide full payment 45 days after project completion.
V. Optional Additional Services
The response to this proposal should include all costs for this project. Any additional costs not included in this document are deemed the responsibility of the vendor and not the responsibility of HTC.
VI. Conditions of Award
All questions to this proposal should be directed to the Director of Technology at HTC. All questions are due by July 1, 2007. Responses to questions will be returned by July 10, 2007.
